In South Florida, Style Without Attitude – NY TIMES Article

We found this awesome article on about South Florida.

“In the early ’90s, it seemed that half the shops in Delray Beach, Fla., which is about an hour up the coast from Miami, were boarded up. Its streets were mostly deserted. But by the turn of the millennium it had transformed into an idyllic beach town filled with mom-and-pop restaurants, art galleries and beauty salons. Nowadays, Delray is poised to become a national destination. May 2009 saw the opening of Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge, an indoor-outdoor hot spot with D.J.’s, V.I.P. cabanas and a dress code — a jolt of South Beach in an otherwise sleepy town. Since then, an influx of design-conscious establishments along East Atlantic Avenue has brought in a new energy: creative, stylish and yet attitude-free.” -  JONATHAN VATNER
